Turkey's declining Christian population

A century ago Christians made up 20% of Turkey's population, the figure is now just 0.2%. Pope Francis is visiting the country and will meet with political and religious leaders, including the head of the Orthodox Church. Istanbul, under its old name of Constantinople, was once a city of significance for the Christian faith, but Turkey's population now has a very large Muslim majority. Culled from BBC News
