How to prosper through the Bible –Ibrahim

The Group Managing Director of Energy Group of Companies, Dr Jimoh Ibrahim, has said that the word of God is far more profitable than the riches of this world. The business tycoon with investments in the energy, media, banking, insurance, education and real estate sectors of the economy said this at the Adult Harvest anniversary of the Omnipotence Mission of God, held in Lagos last Sunday. Speaking on the topic, ‘How to become a millionaire’, the tycoon emphasised that keeping of the precepts of the Bible is indeed the shortest cut to becoming a millionaire, billionaire or trillionaire. Ascribing the powers to make and unmake anything unto the Almighty God, Dr. Ibrahim said that anyone who observes the word of God would not have to struggle to possess the goodies of the world. His words: “The Bible, the written word of God, is the greatest key to resounding success. If you follow it well, you will enjoy huge success.” Taking his text from the book of Isaiah 46: 9-10; he pointed out that God is God; and that there is no one else who could do all things. “God will always remain God. He is God yesterday; he is God today and he will remain forever more. Whether you are rich or poor, God will remain God no matter your situation. Whether you are in pain, suffering, making it, whatever your situation, God is God and will remain because he is the owner of the universe. “He can do anything. He can bless you. He can curse you. He can prosper you and he can suffer you,” Ibrahim said. He also noted that pride makes people to forsake God. According to him, the sins of pride made God to wipe the country of Tyre out of the surface of the earth. He stressed that whoever allowed pride to lead him or her into disobeying the Lord was asking for the dangerous side of God. “I want to prove to you that God is an organiser. God is a planner; that God has planned everything on earth from the beginning and he has revealed all things by the word of prophesy. He further noted that God alone knows the future; so let Him reveal it to you; adding that it is wise for everyone to embrace the teaching of the Bible to avoid the wrath of God. “Jesus is coming very soon,” he said from National Mirror
