Adeboye Urges Lecturers To impact Positively On People

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer, Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Sunday, urged university lecturers to abide by their calling and use their talents to impact on peoples’ lives positively.
Adeboye, hitherto a Professor of Mathematics at the University of Lagos, gave the advice during a special prayer session organised for lecturers at the RCCG National Headquarters in Ebute Meta, Lagos.
In his sermon with the theme: “Excellent Spirit,” Adeboye, said God gave man an excellent spirit, which did not come cheap, but required sacrifice and hard work, stressing the need for Nigerians to be righteous and God-fearing to exploit it.
According to him, “Education is the only way to mould good citizens; therefore, you should endeavour to teach correctly and rightly to change the students’ lives, while changing our educational system and the society at large.”
The General Overseer urged the people to obey God’s commandments to attract His blessings, saying, however, that “excellence does not come in a cheap way.”
