The General Superintendent, Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Kumuyi has said that his vision for the youth is to see that they are groomed in faith to ensure that the circumstances of life do not take them away from the Lord.
“I want to see that I hold the youth in my hand, take them to great heights in life.
“I want to help equip them with the knowledge and skills required for leadership in the country and service of the Lord. I will make sure that I impact the life of the youths across the country; that is my vision for the youths and also the country.”
Kumuyi spoke in an interview with journalists in Lagos, ahead of the forthcoming mid-year celebration of the church with the theme, “Now Is The Time When Mountains Move” between today and tomorrow.”
The clergy said as he is getting close to departing planet earth, having served God and humanity and is eagerly looking forth to see Nigeria listed among the G8 in terms of producing leaders with great integrity and uncommon socio-economic development in the country.
“I am talking of raising up a leadership for the country as legacy before I pass on, so that this country will be among the G8 or whatsoever they call it. And I want to see a new and better country.”
Kumuyi however, urged parents to be abreast with current technological developments across the world in order for them to properly raise their children to greater heights.
