The Christian faithful who gathered at the Ibadan North East Local
Government car park, Iwo road, Ibadan, under the umbrella of the
Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), besought God with prayers for an
end to the challenges of insecurity in the country and for the right
leaders to put the country on the right course.
CAN Chairman, Ibadan North East Local Government, Pastor Peter Oloyede, speaking with Tribune Church called on Nigerians to be committed towards taking the country to the next level.
Prayers were led by representatives of the Christian Council of Nigeria, the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria, the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, the Organisation of African Instituted Churches and the Evangelical Fellowship of West Africa in the local government, asking God to prevail on the situation of the country and for God’s will for the country to come to fulfillment.
