Appreciate God always, Adeboye charges

The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has charged Christians to always thank God regardless of the situation they find themselves. He spoke at a special prayer session for waiting and expecting mothers penultimate weekend at the national headquarters of the church in Ebute-Metta, Lagos. Adeboye said believers will overcome challenges of lives by acknowledging the power and might of God through heartfelt praises. Turning to the congregation, he said they must believe God will deliver them despite delays in child-bearing, failure in exams, persecution, sickness and affliction. According to him: “Let us thank God for challenges because they produce testimonies; for exams because they produce promotion; for enemies because it shows that we are making progress; for hostile people because it is then we can realise that we only have one friend who is Jesus.” He said the awaiting mothers should stay holy and rest assured on the scriptural assurance that they will give birth to many children
