Aftermath of the self-acclaimed “true confessions” by a former member and worker of the Common Wealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Miss. Ese Water, who claimed that the Senior Pastor of the church, Pas. Biodun Fatoyinbo had a sexual relationship with her at an undisclosed London hotel; the Senior Pastor of the wave-making church is set to hit back at the allegation on Sunday-tomorrow.
Speaking to The Christendom Newspaper on the phone, the Church Admin Officer, who simply gave his name as Tayo said, when asked about the church’s side of the story: “Thank you very much for asking for our side of the story. We really appreciate that. God bless you! Where are you calling from? At the church service tomorrow all issues relating to that will be solved even before the end of the service”.
Tayo, who said The Christendom Newspaper could called his number when at the church on Sunday, added that he was sure that every question that needed to be asked would have been answered during the service.
Just after of the posting of the said confessions, that has gone viral on the internet, many fans, mentees, friends and lovers of the pastor and the church have felt so disappointed, as many said they could not still believe the whole story until true investigations were conducted into the allegation, which many believed to be unfounded.

Speaking to The Christendom Newspaper, a bona fide COZA member said: “Anyway, I still find it difficult to believe. But what I noticed in recent months is that many active members of the Church workforce had left in droves. There are people I don’t believe could leave. And when I asked why they left, they could not give a reason. This is a huge disappointment on the part of the church, church members and we, the mentees of the pastor, who keep looking forward to him. I read the whole story but I don’t want to talk about it until we hear the church’s side. It could be an attempt to tarnish the image of COZA and the pastor. It has happened before in other churches but was later found out to be a set up by detractors”.
Also speaking, was a lady, who simply gave her name as kemi. Kemi, who said she was not a member of COZA but a friend to the church, added that Pas. Fatoyinbo has been her mentor for years. And that she admired him a lot as a true man of God.  ‘’Can somebody just tell me it is not true? Pastor Biodun has been my mentor for years. And I don’t want to believe this. This is why I am calling you – being a Christian newspaper to help conduct a thorough investigation into the allegation so we can know the true situation of things.
The Christendom Newspaper, in its bid to give an objective reportage, fair and balanced put a call through to the Senior Pastor but the number did not go through. Also, text messages were sent to other telephone numbers of the church, though both delivered, no response was gotten.
The Newspaper later succeeded in getting the Church Admin Officer who promised that the whole issue about the sex allegation leveled against the Senior Pastor would be clarified during the Sunday Service tomorrow.
The story, since it was posted on some social media, had generated a lot of reactions from lovers, members and Christians all over the country.
Could this be true? Could it be a mere attempt to tarnish the image and reputation of the church and its Senior Pastor? Only time will tell. Tomorrow’s church service promises to answer some of the numerous questions bothering the people.
The Christendom Newspaper will keep you posted as the detail unfolds.
