The Bible society of Nigeria (BSN), as part
of his efforts to make the Holy Bible readily available to all in the country,
is set to introduce the water-proof Bible to the public.
In a Statement released recently, the Media
Officer of the BSN, Mr. Benjamin Mordi, said: “The introduction of this special
Bible would further meet the scriptural needs of Nigerian. Mordi who informed
that the Bible is a product of research and as response to the need of
Nigerians, especially those in riverine areas, added that with this unique
innovation, Christians are assured of the safety of their Bibles, not only in
dry but also in wet season.
A sample copy the transparent Bible was
displayed to the public recently at the just- concluded 9th Annual
Luncheon of Special Members Forum of the BSN, at the Muson Centre, Onikan,
Lagos, where quests at the event appreciated the innovation of the
organization.
