On the 17th, August, 2013, all
roads led to Ilesha Osun State as the Christendom stood still for one of its
finest prophest, who was buried amid pomp and outpouring of eulogies.
Prophet. T.O Obadare, who died on the 21st
of March, 2013 at the age of 83, after a three-day revival aimed at putting an
end to the 23-year-old crisis rocking the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), was a

The final journey to eternity of the miracle
prophet was sponsored by virtually all the six states in South West region with
the Osun State Government donating for the funeral, a whooping sum of N35m.
Speaking
at the burial ground of the late WOSEM founder, Osun State Govenor, Rauf
Aregbesola, described the late Apostle as a symbol of truth and spirituality,
adding that Obadare rose beyond ocular disability to etch his name in gold. The
governor also recalled him numerous evangelistic exploits, especially the ones
that put Nigerians on the world map.
Prominent individuals from all walks of life
were present to pay their last respects to the renowned prophet whose
evangelistic exploits spanned over 60 years.
Obadare, who was a second-in-command to the
late Apostle Joseph Ayo Babalola, was commuted to mother earth amid outpouring of
tributes and respects at Ileki area of Ilesa-Osun State.
